In association with Meehan Green, the IGBC is providing a LEED GA Exam Prep training.

What will this training cover:

-          The LEED rating systems and it’s application in sustainable building design and construction

 

-          The LEED credits under each category, and the LEED certification process

 

-          The criteria for achieving points in each LEED GA credit category: site selection, water efficiency, energy performance, materials selection, indoor environmental quality, and innovation

 

-          How to optimize LEED project performance in the Irish context

 

-          Understand the LEED GA Exam format and structure and steps needed to register

Please note: 
This programme is not required to take the LEED Green Associate exam, but provides participants with an understanding of the LEED systems and processes for the LEED Green Associate exam, as well as a foundation for working on LEED projects in Ireland or abroad. Also note that LEEDv4 is the only system under which you can take the USGBC exams, even though you may be working with other LEED systems on your current projects.


The training will be delivered over 4 live Zoom sessions:
• 22nd April 2024 10am-11am
• 23rd April 2024 10am-11am
• 24th April 2024 10am-11am
• 25th April 2024 10 am- 12pm (including live session with Nellie Reid, Managing Director Meehan Green
Each session will be recorded and participants can access the recordings.

Meet your tutor

Gülşen Şahin

Gülşen is Associate Director with Meehan Green  and specialized in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) since 2013.
She has completed 53 LEED certified projects and 3.6 million certified gross square meters including office, residential, mixed-use development, airport, school, factory, hotel and healthcare projects.
